Ideal for Short Wing Hawker

Originally designed as the ideal transmitter option for the Short wing Hawker, offering the best combination of range, size, long battery life, and low cost.

Flat Low-Profile Design

The Turbo version features a flat low-profile design best suited for dorsal mounting methods such as tail and backpack mounts.

Customizable Lid

The large flat lid can be customized with customer names or numbers, eliminating the need for a separate Lost Bird tag on the leg.

Versatile Leg and Neck Mount

Ideal as a leg or neck mount for larger birds such as Harris' Hawks, Goshawks, and Redtail Hawks, thanks to its light weight and short antenna.

Tail Mount Ready

Comes with a small spring attached to the bottom of the case and three tiny retention posts on the underside to hold the tail spring in place when used as a tail mount.

TrackPack Compatible

The flat shape and short 7-inch antenna make it ideal for dorsal mounting on a TrackPack.

Emergency Leg Mount Capability

The Bewit slot attachment is built into the case, allowing the transmitter to be used as a leg mount temporarily in an emergency or if the spring breaks.

Service details

The new Scout was originally intended to be the ideal transmitter option for the Short wing Hawker, having the best combination of range, size, long battery life and low-cost that this group is after. A key design goal in creating the Turbo version of the Scout was to provide another high power transmitter option in UHF that was a flat low-profile design which is best for dorsal mounting methods (tail and backpack). This also gives the option to customize the large flat lid with customer names or numbers, and eliminating the need for another Lost Bird tag on the leg.
