What do the LED colors mean on the RT VHF?
Green means regular power and operation, yellow means low battery (time to change it), and red means the battery is nearly dead, with less than 24 hours remaining.
Can I use rechargeable batteries with the RT VHF?
Yes — it's compatible with Marshall's rechargeable batteries, giving greater tracking range and a full charge at the start of every flight. Battery life is 7–10 days.
Can the RT VHF be mounted on both the leg and tail?
Yes — fully convertible between tail mount (tail spring with a tail piece or TrackPack) and leg mount (bewit-style lid or the EZ Twist system).
